National Volunteer Week - Extraordinary Hearts
Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial or social gain so that they may benefit another person, group or organization.
Volunteers are just ordinary people with extraordinary hearts. They offer the gift of their time to teach, to listen, to help, to inspire, to build, to grow, to learn. They expect no pay, yet the value of their work knows no limit. They’ve planted tiny seeds of love to countless lives. Volunteers are ordinary people who reach out and take a hand, and together make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
During National Volunteer week we would like to recognize all the volunteers in the Pennyrile Ombudsman program past and present as well as those yet to arrive. This valuable work could not be done without each one of you.
