2022 Pennyrile Region Budget Workshop
Join the team from DLG on February 24 from 9 am - 12 pm (central time) as they provide budget information and answer questions to prepare county officials for best practices in budget preparation and management. The workshops are designed for newly elected officials, as well as a refresher course for veteran office holders. Because this year will be the fourth year of the term in office, Term-Ending Restrictions on Spending, commonly referred to as the 65%-35% Rule, will be the primary focus of this year’s budget workshops. Those eligible can receive 3 hours of training credit for attending.
