Kentucky Brownfield Program and Tetra Tech Seeking to Redevelop and Revitalize Kentucky

The KY Brownfield Program is partnering with Tetra Tech through an environmental stewardship program to provide outreach to communities within Kentucky specific to Redevelopment and Revitalization. This outreach session will provide your community an overview of the brownfield program and grant assistance opportunities that may be available for redevelopment and revitalization efforts.

The historic $1.5 billion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funding investment into US EPA's Brownfield Grants provides all communities with an unprecedented opportunity to apply for this funding for any needed redevelopment project and revitalization efforts. Come learn how to maximize the benefits of this historic investment in your community.
We will provide an overview of:
  •   The U.S. EPA Brownfield Program;
  •   Kentucky’s Brownfield Liability Protection Program;
  •   Brownfield Multipurpose, Assessment, and Cleanup Grants;
  •   Revolving Loan Fund and Job Training Grants;
  •   Targeted Brownfield Assessment Program; and
  •   Technical Assistance Opportunities.

The target audience for this outreach includes entities involved with planning and implementation of economic development in your community. Individuals or groups within these entities may include developers, municipalities, non-profit organizations, consultants, bankers, city/county leadership, etc. Please forward this invitation to all within your community that may benefit from this information. Grant applications for multipurpose, assessment, and cleanup grants are due November 2022. Now is the ideal time to start planning for those efforts. We look forward to seeing everyone soon.
