State Association Seeking Executive Director
NEWS RELEASE
November 3, 2022  -  The Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts (KCADD) and the Kentucky Association of District Directors (KADD) are seeking applicants for the position of Executive Director for their office located in Frankfort, Kentucky.  The position serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of both organizations.
Applicants must possess a master’s degree in public administration, business administration, planning or related field, plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in public service, including management and supervision and experience in planning and intergovernmental relations; or a bachelor’s degree plus at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in planning or intergovernmental relations.
Experience in association management is desirable.

The Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts is comprised of 15 regional entities called Area Development Districts that provide a multi-disciplinary approach to regional trouble-shooting by working with elected leadership to strengthen the physical environment and enhance the quality of life in Kentucky. The ADDs administer numerous programs including programs to assist the elderly, improve the state’s infrastructure, conduct hazard mitigation planning, file state and federal grant applications, facilitate economic development, develop a strong workforce, improve water and wastewater practices, and advance public health.
