Grateful Appreciation
400 Forgotten Angels served in 2019
Please accept our grateful appreciation for all that was done to make Forgotten Angels 2019 a remarkable year! It takes each of us to make this a success. Each person who adopted an angel, each person who carried a bag back to the workshop, each stocking stuffer donation and monetary donation. Everyone that helped fluff and stuff the bags. All the volunteers that lifted many bags to get them all in numerical order and then delivered. Sherry at the front desk, what an outstanding job she did! I do not see how she does it throughout the year, much less with all the comings and goings of Christmas and Forgotten Angels too. Then there were the angels who shopped in the pouring down rain without a complaint one. Thank you to each one. This year we provided a Christmas bag full of goodies along with their specific Christmas wish to 400 residents in personal care homes. The bags stretched around to the front hall. Overall, it could not have been done without God, which is exactly what this season is all about. I especially want to thank all those I work with here at the PADD for making allowances during this time, for offering your help and for the heartfelt support of this program. Best to you all in the NEW YEAR.
