KY Long-Range Statewide Transportation Plan (LRSTP)
The mission of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is to provide Kentuckians and travelers with a safe, efficient, environmentally sound and fiscally responsible transportation system. Our transportation network extends beyond bridges and highways and must meet the needs of the Commonwealth’s diverse and growing population.
KYTC’s Long-Range Statewide Transportation Plan (LRSTP) is a planning document that identifies the goals, policies, needs, and analysis tools that set the direction of Kentucky’s transportation system toward 2045. Transportation keeps us connected to what matters most. Everyone has a role to play in the planning process to help shape the state’s long-term, multi-modal transportation vision that will build a better Kentucky now and well into the future.
The LRSTP update is an important opportunity for all Kentuckians to weigh in on the state’s long-term multimodal transportation vision and help adapt to changing needs that impact our transportation system.
