August 2019 PADD Board of Directors Meeting
The PADD Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the PADD Office in Hopkinsville. Federal and State reports were provided by Morgan Alvey (Senator McConnell), Corey Elder (Congressman Comer), Jason Hasert (Senator Paul), Representatives Melinda Gibbons Prunty and Thomas Walker. PADD Staff reports were presented by Craig Morris (Regional Planning Coordinator), Amanda Stokes (Aging Planner/In-Home Services Manager), Sheila Clark (WKWB Director), and Derek Poor (Veterans Transition Liaison). Kisha Jeffrey-Mische, Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau, presented a 2020 Census Overview. Guest Speaker, Holly Hopkins Scoville, Ledcor Group NG-KIH Design Build, LLC, gave a slide presentation overview and update on the Kentucky Wired Project. Jason Vincent, PADD Executive Director, welcomed new PADD Board Member and Mayor of the City of Salem, Gary Damron.
