1915(c) HCBS Waiver Public Comment Begins
The Department for Medicaid Services (the Department) is reminding stakeholders that the formal public comment period for amendments to the Commonwealth’s 1915(c) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver programs began Monday, January 7, 2019.
You can view the amended waiver applications and a summary of the updates on the Department’s Division of Community Alternatives website at https://chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dms/dca/Pages/default.aspx. You will find the documents in the "Additional Information" section of the site. The Department is also hosting a series of webinars this week to highlight the proposed amendments to the waivers. You can find a schedule, along with information on how to submit your public comments, in the public notice that the Department issued in December 2018 https://chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dms/dca/Documents/publicnotice1915cwaivers.pdf.
The formal public comment period will remain open until February 6, 2019, at 11:59PM. The Department looks forward to receiving your feedback.
