PADD Board of Directors August 2017 Monthly Meeting

​The PADD Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the PADD Office in Hopkinsville. Federal, state and staff reports were provided. Guest speaker Holly Hopkins Scoville, Ledcor Group, gave a slide presentation overview of the Middle Mile Project, securing easements for Kentucky Wired Fiber Network. This is the first P3 telecom project in the United States and KY is the only state to have fiber optic cable across all 120 counties. The $324.4 million dollar construction project will install 3,300 plus miles of fiber optic cable (85% on poles and 15% underground).
