Planning and Zoning Training
The Cadiz Trigg County Planning Commission will host a training session for Planning Commissioners and Board of Zoning Adjustment members, city and county officials and other interested parties to meet the KRS requirements (KRS 147A.027) for training on July 17, 2024 at the Renaissance Center (49 Jefferson Street, Cadiz) from 8am -5pm.
This training will be provided by David Pike, Pike Legal Group, from Shepherdsville, KY and associates. Mr. Pike is an expert in planning and zoning issues, ordinances and regulations. This training will cover a wide range of topics that are timely and relevant to local officials and will be tailored to our region.
Lunch and beverages will be served at the Renaissance Center. A charge of $25 per person will cover the training, meal and drinks. Checks can be made payable to CTC Planning.

KRS 147A.027 requires that:
This training will help officials to meet their KRS 147A.027 Requirements.

KRS 147A.027 requires that:
- Planning commission and board of adjustment members, zoning administrators, and planning professionals must pursue continuing education.
- Planning commission and board of adjustment members must accumulate at least eight hours every two years.
- Zoning administrators and planning professionals must accumulate at least 16 hours every two years.
- The local planning commission is responsible for maintaining the these records.
This training will help officials to meet their KRS 147A.027 Requirements.
