August 2025 Funding Opportunities
The Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD) is sharing several grant and funding opportunities available in August 2025 for communities, local governments, and organizations throughout our region. These programs support projects in infrastructure, economic development, disaster recovery, community services, and more.
Current Funding Opportunities
1. Kentucky Infrastructure Authority – KYWWATERS Program
Funding for troubled or economically restrained public water and wastewater systems. Assistance may include grants, loans, no-interest loans, or forgivable loans. Emergency funding is available for projects to restore or prevent imminent service interruption.
2. Delta Regional Authority (DRA) – States Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP)
Supports projects in infrastructure, transportation, business development, and job training.
3. Delta Regional Authority – Community Infrastructure Fund (CIF)
Funds public infrastructure, transportation, and flood control projects.
4. G.R.A.N.T. – Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation
State matching program for projects tied to federal grants or DRA initiatives.
5. EDA – FY2025 Disaster Supplemental Program
Funding for disaster recovery and resilience through three pathways: Readiness, Implementation, and Industry Transformation.
6. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Supports neighborhood revitalization, housing, infrastructure, and community services.
7. EDA – Economic Adjustment Assistance Program
Funds construction and non-construction projects that address economic disruptions.
8. Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives – Local Records Program
Supports records management projects for local governments.
9. Litter Abatement Grant Program
Funds litter cleanup for eligible counties and cities.
10. Illegal Open Dump Cleanup Program
Funds cleanup of illegal dumps in compliant counties.

Current Funding Opportunities

- Deadline: August 29, 2025
2. Delta Regional Authority (DRA) – States Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP)
Supports projects in infrastructure, transportation, business development, and job training.
- Deadline: August 25, 2025
- Match: 10% (unless project is in a distressed county)
3. Delta Regional Authority – Community Infrastructure Fund (CIF)
Funds public infrastructure, transportation, and flood control projects.
- Deadline: August 30, 2025
- Award Range: $500,000–$2,000,000
- Match: 10% for non-distressed communities
4. G.R.A.N.T. – Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation
State matching program for projects tied to federal grants or DRA initiatives.
- Deadline: 1st of each month
5. EDA – FY2025 Disaster Supplemental Program
Funding for disaster recovery and resilience through three pathways: Readiness, Implementation, and Industry Transformation.
- Deadlines: Rolling (Industry Transformation Path deadline – March 3, 2026)
- Match: 20%
6. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Supports neighborhood revitalization, housing, infrastructure, and community services.
- Deadline: September 1, 2025 (varies by category)
7. EDA – Economic Adjustment Assistance Program
Funds construction and non-construction projects that address economic disruptions.
- Deadline: Rolling
- Match: 20%
8. Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives – Local Records Program
Supports records management projects for local governments.
- Deadlines: March 15, June 15, September 15, December 31
9. Litter Abatement Grant Program
Funds litter cleanup for eligible counties and cities.
- Deadline: November 3, 2025
10. Illegal Open Dump Cleanup Program
Funds cleanup of illegal dumps in compliant counties.
- Deadline: November 3, 2025
- Match: 25% if under $50,000
