PeADD 54th Annual Dinner Meeting

The 54th Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Monday, June 12th at The Bruce Convention Center with a reception and registration beginning at 5:30 pm and the dinner and meeting beginning at 6 pm.  Please join us as we celebrate the past year and all that has been accomplished in the Pennyrile Region.  Service awards as well as the “John C. Mahre Regionalism Award” which honors individuals, groups of individuals, or entities who have shown a passion for regionalism and cooperation in the Pennyrile.

The annual event is sponsored by Planters Bank of Hopkinsville and gives all local officials, legislators, business and civic leaders, and others from throughout the Pennyrile the opportunity to celebrate the year’s activities and accomplishments.  As a service organization, PeADD has provided 54 years of leadership to the Pennyrile region providing the highest quality of professional planning, development, and implementation services in the areas of community and economic development, workforce, transportation, social services and public administration.

The guest speaker, Lisa Marie Platske, is an award-winning leadership expert in human behavior who has received accolades from the White House, the United States Small Business Administration, and The International Alliance for Women, recognized as one of the top 100 women making a difference in the world.
She left her Federal law enforcement career to be the CEO of an international leadership development company, Upside Thinking, Inc.

Lisa Marie delivers presentations worldwide sharing research on how vulnerability and forgiveness are critical to exceptional leadership --as well as her proven 7-step leadership model centered on connection, positioning, and executive presence. An international best-selling author in 5 countries, Lisa Marie has written or co-authored 7 books.

A member of the Forbes Coaches Council and a regular contributor to Forbes.com, she has trained or coached over 100,000 leaders around the globe to make a bigger positive impact on the planet since 2005. She lives on Summit Hills Farm in the Bluegrass Region in KY where she runs her online business without internet access.

PeADD is one of fifteen Area Development Districts in Kentucky and is the primary regional planning and development agency for the nine county area of: Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd and Trigg.  The 39 member Board of Directors is currently chaired by Ms. Crissy Carter, Citizen Representative of Livingston County.
