Posted on November 7th, 2018

‚ÄčNovember is National Family Caregiver Awareness Month, where caregivers are acknowledged for the care they provide. In the United States, more than 60 million caregivers are providing care to someone who is ill, disabled, or aging. In 2000, the Older Americans Act was amended to include the National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP). It funds a range of supports that assist family and informal caregivers to care for their loved ones at home for as long as possible.
