Transportation Planning in the Pennyrile  The Pennyrile Regional Transportation Committee exists to support the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's statewide long-range transportation planning process to identify, evaluate, and prioritize transportation needs for possible future implementation. PADD staff assists the Transportation Cabinet with a review of the:
- Six Year Highway Plan
- the statewide Aviation System Plan
- the identification of highway projects to be included in the State's Unscheduled Highway Needs list
