Ice Storm

The Winter Storm / Ice Storm on January 26th & 27th did a tremendous amount of damage to the Pennyrile region.  As cleanup continues throughout the region, all affected agencies are working their plans and preparations to enhance readiness.  Pictured at left is a load of debris arriving at the Lyon County collection site.

What do we need to do now?

Individuals - look at how prepared you were, and begin planning for and taking actions to improve your family's readiness.  Consider joining an organization such as the Citizen Corps to pool our efforts.

Collectively - look closely at what happened, and make plans and set procedures to improve our future response.  Have ideas?  Submit an After Action Report.
