Working Group Sub-Committee

The Working Group meets bi-monthly to plan for activities of the regional Citizen Corps.

The Working Group has a cross section from the First Responder community and Initiative Coordinators as well as citizen representatives who are truly committed to the success of the Citizen Corps.  Members of this committee are asked to "go the extra mile" to see that our regional goals and objectives are met or exceeded.



The working group:

• Translates goals into workable action plans
• Seeks out opportunities to promote the Citizen Corps throughout the region
• Assists in special projects and events
• Attends meetings - brainstorm, contribute to communicating our game plan
• Maintains minutes
• Assists in purchase recommendations to the Finance Sub-Committee
• Ensures requests for financial expenditures are accompanied by the documentation required
