Education & Training Sub-Committee

The Education/Training Sub-Committee is lead by a Chairman appointed by the Council Chairman.  The Training Sub-Committee Chairman appoints members as necessary.
 
The focus of this Group will be to establish a Training Curriculum and Educational Seminars to meet the goals set by the Working Group/Council.  Duties include:

  1. Review and ensure training is IAW NIMS Directives and guidance.
  2. Assist in development of “Awareness Training” Courses vital to educating citizens and IAW KOHS Standards.
  3. Ensure Credentials of Instructors for NIMS/ICS and other courses planned
  4. Determine suitable locations for training sessions working with EM, Responder or Elected Representative  of area training will take place.
  5. Develop Schedule for Training/Courses/Seminars and post to the PRCCC Website; Announce Training at all meetings
  6. Maintain Training Website, links, information as Chairman see’s relevant
  7. Attend or Assign Trainers to attend the Instructor Trainers Course at Anniston- Center for Domestic Preparedness.
  8. Maintain list of Certified Trainers in region (ie: CERT, MRC, NWP, VIPS, ICS, other as deemed necessary)
  9. Chairman is an automatic member of Working Group to facilitate communications.
  10. Assist in developing FY Budget for following year
  11. Other duties as required
