Community and Economic Development Staff
A major goal of the Pennyrile Area Development District is promoting and assisting in the development and growth of the area's economy. The ADD assists in the permitting process for businesses, provides economic data and information, and serves as a focal point for regional cooperation and coordination for the development efforts of communities.
In the area of Economic Development, some highlights include: the annual "Pride of the Pennyrile", a regional industry appreciation event attended by more than 100 business/industry leaders; and continued initiatives regarding technology and telecommunications.
Jason Vincent - Assistant Director

Jason is is responsible for the coordination of economic development, infrastructure, and public works projects. He provides assistance to cities, counties, and special districts with regard to financing and developing projects. In addition, Jason administers the PADD loan programs. |

Suzanne Arnold - Director of Housing
suzanne.arnold@ky.gov
Suzanne provides general and technical assistance to agencies and individuals in coordinating efforts to provide housing for low-and moderate-income households. She is currently administering the multi-million dollar Neighborhood Stabilization Grant.

Amy Frogue - Director of Community Development

Amy is the primary planner for the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, and she assists in the preparation and submission of communities grant applications for Homeland Security.

Ashley Johnson - Community Development Specialist
ashley.johnson@ky.gov
Ashley administers projects funded through various agencies. She also assists in the development, coordination, and application process of projects involving infrastructure, job creation, recreation and other related projects.

John Herring - Water Service Coordinator & Public Administration Specialist johnm.herring@ky.gov
John assists water and sewer utilities with project planning and development. As facilitator of the Pennyrile Area Water Management Council, he works in conjunction with the Kentucky Infrastructure Authority, Kentucky Rural Water Association and the Kentucky Division of Water, and also assists county and city governments with preparation of Budgets, Audits and setting tax rates in accordance with the Governor's Office for Local Development (GOLD) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

Melody Goodwin - Program Assistant
melody.goodwin@ky.gov
Melody conducts the Intergovernmental Review Process, and assists the Assistant Director, Housing Coordinator, Water Service Coordinator, and Transportation Planning Coordinator in reports, minutes and correspondence. She also organizes, distributes and gathers staff reports for semi-annual and annual reports to be sent to the Department for Local Government.

Craig Morris - Regional Planning Coordinator

Craig coordinates planning activities for county and municipal agencies in order to provide technical assistance and direction on specific programs and projects. He is the primary Point of Contact for Transportation planning.
