Social Service Case Manager

The Pennyrile Area Development District/Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living has a case management position available. The position will provide case management and assessment services for various programs serving older adults, caregivers and individuals with disabilities.

Applicant must have one of the following qualifications:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field from an accredited college or university, with:
1. One (1) year experience in health or human services; or
2. The educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or disabilities;

(ii) RN currently licensed as defined in KRS 314.011(10), and has at least two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or disabilities; or

(iii) A Master’s degree, in a health or human services field, from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.

The Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD) has a contract opportunity for a Disaster Recovery/Resiliency Coordinator (DRC). The DRC, contracted under direction of PeADD, will act as a centralized regional point of contact for all coronavirus related information.  They will work closely with all types of entities (including but not limited to cities, counties, EM Directors, first responders, businesses, industries, education, medical providers, and other community stakeholder organizations) to identify impacts, recovery needs and resources as it relates specifically to the coronavirus.

The DRC will also assist area stakeholders in the development of strategies and/or solutions presented by the coronavirus to assist in overcoming obstacles and to re-adapt economically.  This work will also include the identification of new projects (needed resources, infrastructure, etc.) to respond to the coronavirus impact that are above and beyond current project funding availability; the coordinator will work with existing ADD staff to develop applications for those funding needs.

In addition, the DRC will assist with the implementation of PeADD’s COVID-19 Business Relief Working Capital Revolving Loan Fund Program.  PeADD intends to primarily use the loan funds to help alleviate sudden and severe economic dislocation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, to provide permanent resources to support economic resiliency, and to further the long-term economic adjustment objectives of the Pennyrile region.

The qualified individuals shall hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Public Administration or related field with a minimum of five years progressive financial, governmental, and/or administrative experience.  A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.  Individuals will be evaluated and ranked based upon the following criteria:
          Education                                              20 points
          Related Experience                             30 points
          Availability/Work Plan                        10 points
