Community Development in the Pennyrile

PADD offers a wide variety of programs to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the region. Community Development Projects are one of the most significant initiatives of the Pennyrile Area Development District. Our staff looks to provide immediate ways to help communities take charge of changing context, challenges, and opportunities by facilitating federal, state, and local partnerships through programs such as:

• Recreation and Natural Resource Conservation Programs
• Intergovernmental Review Process
• Cemetery Preservation Programs
• Transportation Enhancement Program
• Safe Route to School Program
